Behaviour & Learning Support in St. Albert
What I Offer
At Horizon Behaviour Services, I offer evidence-based, individualized support to help people grow and learn. I empower families and other care providers to understand behaviour and barriers to growth, build skills, and support the development of positive, lasting change. Every service is tailored to the unique strengths, needs, and goals of the individuals I support, and services always uphold client dignity, autonomy, and safety.
Grounded in my core values of safety, trust, compassion, collaboration, and kindness, my services focus on strengthening relationships, building skills, and increasing confidence in navigating daily challenges. Depending on your goals, services can be delivered right in your home, or virtually where appropriate. Services can be offered individually for the most part, or combined for greater impact. All services listed can be fulfilled through Behaviour/Developmental or Specialized Services FSCD contracts.
Wherever you are in your journey, I am here to partner with you.

I partner with families and teams on your Behaviour/Developmental or Specialized Services contracts to implement and help others learn effective strategies that increase skills and reduce barriers to learning and participation. FSCD contracts typically involve direct work with your loved one, paired with teaching parents and other care providers how they can support learning and development between visits. All services listed can be fulfilled through Behaviour/Developmental or Specialized Services FSCD contracts.

Behaviour Assessments help uncover the “why” behind concerning behaviours, and guide the development of compassionate, individualized strategies to support growth and positive change. Skill assessments assist with helping us understanding your loved one’s current abilities, strengths, and areas of growth, to help inform goal areas.
-
Guided by assessment, Behavioural Growth Plans provide individualized, clear, step-by-step strategies to teach important skills and reduce behaviours that are creating barriers to learning and participation. Behavioural Growth Plans are recommended for particularly concerning behaviours such as physical aggression, self-injury, property destruction, etc.
-
Behaviour consultation offers guidance, practical tools, and supportive strategies for families and other care providers to apply strategies on their own with confidence and consistency. Consultation without assessment is only available for non-dangerous behaviour concerns.

Caregiver Education services focus on empowering families and other care providers with the knowledge they need to understand behaviour and support meaningful growth. This service provides a foundation for confident, informed decision-making, and shared understanding.
